We love stripes — and this cushion has them all. Made from Pagne Tissé, a traditional handwoven fabric from Burkina Faso, it carries the rich heritage of West African weaving. Only two cushions are available, making this a truly special piece.

Slow Weaving, Exceptional Skill

Pagne Tissé is woven on traditional looms, a process that is as intricate as it is time-consuming. It takes three days just to set up the loom, threading hundreds of strands for the design. Then, with two weavers working together, an experienced artisan produces only 3–5 meters in a single day. The result is a fabric celebrated for its stripes, complexity, and enduring beauty.

Functional Yet Elegant

This cushion is finished with a complimentary linen back and a delicate concealed zip. Its understated style allows the woven fabric to take centre stage, while ensuring durability and comfort in everyday use.
