Natural Placemats

Made especially for Emmela by the talented weaver called Raymond in Accra, Ghana. We love the natural, organic style of his placemats which are woven using Elephant grasses. He’s a master at weaving and his technique produces the most stunning weave pattern which has been perfected over time.

• 100% Veta Vera (also known as Elephant grass) 
• Edged with cowrie shells sourced in Ghana
• 30cm in Diameter

Handmade 

The placemats are handwoven and will have imperfections. They are not mass produced in a factory where absolute perfection is machine achieved. We believe handcrafted imperfections make the product beautiful and unique.
