About the Fabric

Bògòlanfini (also known as Bogolan or Mud Cloth) is a handwoven Malian cotton textile, traditionally dyed with fermented mud. The cloth is created by weaving long, narrow strips of cotton which are then stitched together, resulting in a fabric that carries centuries of heritage.
