Materials 

Douwes are handwoven from reeds grown in the Gambia and intertwined with old repurposed plastic prayer mats. 

Ndoon Douwes a specialsed weaving skill, using reeds from Guinea Conakry and palm leaf fibres only from Senegal.

Vintage Aso Oke (Ah - shaw - okay) cloth trims from West Africa.

Indigo fabric trims handmade in Mali. 

Leather from St Louis, Senegal.
